Chapter 67. The Two Young Man
Red sat waiting on the porch of the clinic, feeling very anxious. Kyra hadn't come out yet, even though Red had been waiting there for over an hour. She didn't know how bad Aamon's injuries were. The young man always looked strong, as if nothing could hurt him. But Red saw Aamon's weakness that night; he was hurt badly.
The girl realized it when someone came closer, and she saw Anneth with the black cloak that assassins always wore covering his head.
"Aamon's in there?" the man asked as if he knew what was happening.
"Yes, he is injured. Did you know?"
"That little fool."
"Anneth, what is it?"
The man didn't answer immediately; he sat beside Red and took a long breath. "He got into a fight with one of the assassins."
"So you solved the problem by stabbing each other?"
"We're not as barbaric as you think, Red." Anneth frowned at Red. "Aamon asked for a duel. I tried to stop him. He can't fight Prim."
