“Aleena, Kyson was so worried about you that he left everything behind and came back as soon as he could.” Celia was happy that Kyson worried about me that much while I was ridden with guilt. I had disrupted his plans, and now it might take longer for him to prepare for the war with Andre.

I stood next to him while he, Beta Liam, and Gamma Hector talked about how best to protect me. I didn't feel the need for them to go that far.
