Chapter 98. The Siege of Columbia

Kappa Columbia's headquarters was nothing like what Elijah had imagined. It wasn't as vast as Washington's, but its security system was incredibly advanced. As soon as he stepped off the plane, Elijah saw hundreds of drones sweeping across the sky like a flock of birds.

"This is awesome..." Elijah muttered in awe as the drones moved quickly and disappeared into the clouds. He had no idea what their objective was.

From the edge of the airstrip, someone jogged toward them. It was a military officer dressed in a green shirt and black cargo pants, with combat boots to match. He nodded to Bone, though his eyes flickered to Elijah with a mixture of curiosity and unease.

"Master Samuel has already informed us of your arrival," the officer said in a deep voice that didn't quite match his smooth, youthful face. "I'm Sergeant Howie."

Bone held out his hand. "Bone, sir. And this is my team."
