She makes a little oh, sound and keeps quiet, while I tell the rest of my story, wriggling and jerking every now and then, when a particular knot of pleasure hits her.

My devotion to the quest to rescue Billie runs much deeper than my love for her, even though it stems from there.

I think to the girl in those catacombs and from the depths of my mind, the toddler stares back at me, her big grey eyes, encouraging me.
