Chapter 29
Jaime’s POV
Hearing my girl ask Susie the questions she needed to achieve her goal of being a brat made me smile. Of course, I could count on someone to make my day. After the high snobby way Susie was toward me and Mykel, a change of fresh air is always a good thing.
Susie left and never cared to even say a word to anyone of us here, and that is shameful in every way, so what if she moved forward? She had a duty as a pack member to inform me, her Alpha, of any changes to her life!
“I don’t believe we ever met, but to answer your request in the learning of antiquities, a Luna holds more than just having or not her wolf. It’s a job that requires more consideration of how to handle and express details that the Alpha cannot gather at the moment,” she answers in her stubborn old ways. I grin my teeth as I walk to Britney to try and help her. Unlike Susie, who was born of a Gamma and a Luna, Britney is a simple Omega. Standing next to her, I kiss the top of her head.
