Chapter 9
Susie’s POV
It was so good to see stacks of pizza, ice cream, and pastries. They all smell incredible, and I missed the ocean candy they get delivered from the small islands around.
I grab everything and 3 liters of soda to go to my room. I have the lights on so I don’t bump again to unwelcome guys or people in general. As soon as I arrive at my room, I set everything up, and when I turn, I face Neo.
Can’t the guy leave me alone, for crying out loud? I have been rejected enough by two guys, and when I need no guy is when he shows up. Ugh. My face falls at the sight of him. He, however, doesn’t look fazed, not even for a second.
