We are a college student but the program is still ongoing at our university. 

Right now, there is a spoken poetry contest and other university games but I just heard about it now because I got busy with our paper works. Well, I am not the only one in this situation. 

Actually, the university didn't prioritize the programs because the students were busy with their school activities and paperwork. 

"Is there someone who wants to join in spoken poetry?" 

Maybe, only a few students know the programs in our classroom except for our class officers.
