Chapter 28. His Dark Cravings

“Where are you going?” I asked when Spade slowly walked away after almost kissing me. He laughed so hard that made me wonder, was he playing around earlier?

“I’m running away. That man might kill me if I stay.” He amusingly said then winked at me. Wait… What?! My eyes grew bigger when I realized that he was just teasing me and my innocence. Gosh! How can he make me a fool?

With this, I ran towards Spade and pulled his shirt. I want some answers if he was telling the truth earlier or he’s only playing around. Though Spade has always been serious and cold, he must be kidding right? I mean, how can it be true that I’m just an option?
