Chapter 75

By the time they finally made it home, Blair felt like she was running on fumes. The adrenaline that had carried her through the day had completely worn off, leaving her feeling hollow and shaky.

Roman unlocked the front door, and they stepped inside. The events of today would change their lives forever. She needed to talk to Sutton and Keira about their parents’ business. That mess was going to take weeks to sort out. But for now, she was just glad to be home.

“I need a shower,” Blair said quietly, her voice soft, too tired to use energy to talk more than that.
