Wyatt and I stepped into the prison to come across the girl in the white dress she wore when she tried to kill me. Her right leg was chained to the floor, which enabled her to stand up and move around except when she tried to leave.

My lips parted, understanding that the girl had been captured the same day she almost stabbed me. No wonder she never came around anymore. Wyatt is so fast.
