It hurts a lot. It hurt so much that I couldn't understand what was going on around me. My back hurts so intensely that I can hardly register the doctor's voice.

“Young madam, please push. There's just a little left.” The obstetrician gently advised me, her hands on my belly.

The beast of sweat that drained my forehead rolled down, and tears trickled past my eyes.
