Chapter 150

(Lizzie POV)

The ambience pleases me as I sit in the bathtub, the warm,

glittering water caressing my skin, and the intoxicating scent of

roses and sea salt travels to my nostrils while the bath bomb

fizzes away, releasing a burst of pink tints. I close my eyes and

lean back, letting out a sigh of contentment.

Suddenly, my introspection is interrupted by the sound of footsteps

and my eyelids lift up. The steps become more apparent and then

the door opens. My eyes glance over, witnessing the familiar figure

standing there with a paper bag, cradling by his arms, filled with a

bouquet of red roses and sweets.

He smiles at my presence and his hazel eyes glitter in the soft

light. "There you are. I've been looking for you, my love."

"Well, you found me." I chuckle softly.

He licks his lips. "Mmm, I sure did. Damn, you're always fucking

gorgeous for me, huh?"
