Chapter 119. Good Old Days 2
Jasmine*
A man kept banging on my door after ringing the doorbell a thousand times in a row.
I was still in bed. I was extremely tired from yesterday's labor. Reluctantly, I got up and wiped my face so I would be able to collect the sun rays emitting from the window.
The man kept banging as though he would, at any slightest provocation, break down my door.
Wrapped with a duvet, I trudged to the door. I turned the lock right and pulled the doorknob.
Oh mine, a strange man stood by my door without a smile. He appeared as though he has just lost his wife and children in a ghastly motor accident and I was the perpetuator.
I heaved and greeted.
"Good morning, sir."
"What's special about this morning?"
"I'm sorry, excuse me?"
"You are not excused woman, you owe me." He took his glasses oof and revealed a stubble face.
Oh my fucking, this is not good. I told myself.
