Chapter 44. Breakfast in Bed

The following morning, Lilian called to inform me that she was visiting at noon. I became scared, I thought about telling my husband about it but he had already left to work.

She was visiting at noon because she knew that my husband must have returned from work by then.

I wondered what my husband would say if I told him about Lilian's Confession.

Since I was determined to keep my husband closer as Mrs. Laura said some days ago, I was in love with my husband but my stepsister wanted him too.

What do I do? Leave my husband because I love Lilian? That's totally absurd!

I fell onto the sofa in my room, turned on the lights, and began to write out the things I would love to have for Christmas.

My husband returned late unlike yesterday so I asked him. "What kept you for so long?"

"I had a meeting with my staff after work."

"No wonder you came in late today, well your food is served. Meanwhile
