I followed silently though I really wanted to find out about what was going on in the neighborhood.

Another shot went out again followed by screamings and ass kickings.

We listened camly from our hiding until the men walked out completely from the place.

I left my half-sister inside and stepped out alone. I only found a weeping neighbor's young daughter who related the information to me.

Earlier last month, the lessor had increased the rent but the leasee insisted on paying up with the previous rent.

The angry lessor had him arrested until he would be able to make a complete payment.

"I can't believe he did all that, I'd never seen him in my life. He must be a really violent person." Jasmine said with folded arms. "How long will he be detained?"

"Until he has paid up the rent."

She got up, peered through the window and shrugged. "Pass my glass of juice, please."
