Devin’s POV

[A few hours earlier]

The time has come.

I needed to make sure, my brother doesn’t get married to that conniving bitch.

And the only way to do that was if I came back into the land of the living.

It was just me, my mother, and Gabriel going to the wedding that would never ever happen if I had a say.

As we approached the hotel where it would all be held I spotted the devil’s spawn right away and did everything in my power to avoid her.

But then out of nowhere, a man approached us.

He was vaguely familiar to me, but I couldn’t put a name to his face right away.

“Me., Mrs., could I ask you to accompany me please?”

“You are Mason right?”
