Chapter 11
Becky’s POV
After we came back, I made us some tea and set it all in the living room.
But looking at Aron, you could tell he wasn’t psychically present.
He might be standing in the same room as I was, but his mind was somewhere far away.
And that scared me very much.
Because once a person got that far away look in their eyes it could mean only two things.
Either they were thinking about something really nice, or something really awful.
And since Aron asked for a place to crash, I’d say it was the latter.
The suspense was killing me but I didn’t dare utter a word, so I was just waiting patiently
