Chapter 44
"Trixie?" I knocked on her door, seeing nobody wanted to talk to her. Her mother was busy with a few paparazzi outside, and her father went to his office after receiving a call. Her siblings were too preoccupied with taking pictures of themselves and with Alina, who was obviously barely tolerating the evasion of her personal space. As for the guy, William—let's just say he chooses booze and bros.
"Go away!" A solemn voice shouted.
I look at the hallway here on the second floor, and her room is located at the edge. Considering how vast their house is, Lory even had to say the direction twice.
"I'll get lost if I go back down. So, I'll just stay here by the door. Just so you know." I said, and I sat on the floor, leaning my back on her door. It hadn't been a minute passed that she opened the door and made me fall back on the ground.
I should've yelped in pain first, but she glared at me as if I had no right
