I couldn't sleep well last night, and though I kept being reassured about my relationship with Louis through his constant efforts, I knew I would surely completely fall for him. But truth be told, what Lisa said before always bugged me—that there are two reasons for answering the boyfriend-girlfriend question: out of love or out of pity.

For the last business meeting between me and Louis, we discussed matters at his office. Louis was away for a business meeting, so I couldn't see him for a few days.

"This is the hard-bound book. First edition." Vince gave me the book, and looking at my first-ever novel made me feel ecstatic.

I couldn't hide my excitement, and I stood up as I received it. "It's beautiful," I said in awe.

"It is," He smiled, looking at me.

"Thank you," I said.

"This calls for a celebration, doesn't it? Why don't we eat at some nice place?" He suggested.<
