After that conversation, I just focused my attention on the stage, it was the owner of this newly built hotel Marco Cielo who’s talking.
“He’s one of your godfathers, a close friend of mine.” Daddy whispered to me and I nodded.
Many photographers and reporters approached us to take a little statement from daddy about the next election. Many hoped that he would run for mayor of Cebu but he did not accept that because he was satisfied and busy with our company.
Some asked me to take a picture and offered to feature me in their magazine as the heir to the largest shares in LCGC.
“Thank you, but, I’m actually not eyeing for the CEO’s position yet, as much as I can, I’d like to start from the bottom and buy shares along the way. My dad can still manage the company while I’m learning.” I replied and they nodded.
They have many more questions and I answered them one by one. When they left I turned to dad to say goodbye.
