“What’s going on?” Betty asked, looking confused as she stared at Peter, who was still trying to catch his breath.

“Maria is on a live video now,” Nessa said calmly.

“What does that have to do with me?” Betty asked, looking into the phone.

The first thing her eyes saw was the headline, she went ahead to play the video loud enough for everyone in the room to hear.

“Is she trying to put the whole thing on me when I know absolutely nothing about it?” Betty asked no one in particular.

“That’s what she is obviously doing.”

“I had no idea she was going to do something like this, I would have taken care of her beforehand,” Peter said, scattering his hair.

“Why bother doing that, the deed has been done already,” Clementine said, rolling her eyes.

“Betty’s problem is Peter’s problem as well, so he has all the right to be bothered,” Nicholas said.
