By the time Lexi finally emerged from the bathroom, Allen and Greyson were nowhere to be seen. Huffing quietly to herself she grabbed her coat from the stand by the door and paused as she noticed a note left on the console table next to the stand.

‘We figured you might need a little time to cool off, so we’ve gone down for breakfast. Would love for you to join us if you feel up to it! Love you eternally, A & G,’

Lexi snorted at the note and muttered under her breath, but deep down, the thought of them already being familiar with her mood swings and choosing to give her space instead of smothering her as most testosterone-fueled males in the shifter world would do, gave a small sense of satisfaction.
