“Maybe we should play into their hands and see what kinda lame trap they’ve set up for us.” Lexi snorted as Greyson and Allen looked at her with expressions of horror.

“Don’t even think about it Lexi.” You have no idea what they have planned. If Ely managed to get away and hole himself up with my brothers, there’s no telling what he may have come up with in the time since his escape.”

“Especially fueled by vengeance.” Allen added with a grimace.

“Yes, exactly. It does tend to make people that little bit more driven in achieving their goals.” Greyson finished grimly.

“Well, I’d like to see him try to take on my two souls. I have a spontaneous combustion with his name on it,” Lexi smirked and the faces of her mates set into unimpressed expressions.

“What part of ‘Don’t even think about it,’ do you not understand Lexi?” Allen hissed in exasperation.

“The part where the assholes think they can get away with everything and not face consequences.” Lexi
