Bussy walked towards the field facing the administrative block to get a bus that would transport her to Old Girls Hostel. There was no gainsaying the fact that I’d fallen for her. It was happening very fast. I stood there rooted to the spot as students walked around where I stood in all directions. 

They paid me no attention due to the scorching Okada weather. The latter made everyone (especially the students) always hurry. I smiled and clutched the handle of my black bag before walking to a nearby snack bar. I knew I couldn’t afford to breathe a word of what was happening to my mum.
