Chapter 105
Reporter's POV:
I stared at my father for a moment, trying to understand what he had just said to me. I buried my face in his chest and sobbed silently.
(At work)
"Ma'am, you have two weeks to clear this..." and I hung up.
I was tired of listening to these voice messages. Maybe, I should have just stayed home anyway, work wasn't that important in the world anymore, power and money now are.
I am just trying to work my way through my massive student debt, family obligations, and the everyday living expenses of Boston.
I had taken up a side job as a model to help sort out the bills.
"They are here," a colleague had said to me, taking me out of my worrisome face.
Besides, no need to keep that face except because I wanted to lose my job.
I had taken on modeling for the extra cash as what the hospital paid me was not enough to cover my expenses.
