Karen's POV:

"Have a good day," I replied as he nodded and walked away. That dream felt so real.

I stood up from bed, took my bath then I called Meghan.

"Hey, Meghan."

I spoke up.

"Oh my God. Karen, I hope you are fine?"

"Yes, I am fine. I'm just wondering if we could meet for breakfast instead of lunch. I just really need someone to talk to right now."

"Sure, it's perfect. Not like I have anything better to do anyway."

"That's great. Thanks so much. I'll meet you at the coffee shop in 20 minutes," I replied and cut the call.
