"Angelo? As in the guy who hijacked your car? Angelo? As in the guy, the cops shot dead? What the hell is going on Karen?" Monica screamed as I rolled my eyes.

"I'll take Monica for coffee and explain will you be okay here alone for an hour?" I turned to Angelo.

"I'm sure I'll survive," Angelo smiled.

"You should get some sleep you look tired," I advised as he held my waist dragging me close.

"Angelo, then someone kept me up all night, say it!" He whispered as I faced down shyly.

"What?" I asked innocently.

"Say it," Angelo ordered.

"I love you," I confessed as he dragged me forward and kissed me deeply I saw Monica doing a 'now that's what I'm talking about look.

"I won't be long," I assured them as he backed away.
