Chapter 43
Taylor's POV:
He seemed like any legal businessman, just a normal guy, going about his business. He did not certainly look like the type that would even hurt a fly, not much kill someone.
That was the air I felt around him when I met him, innocence and peace, nothing more.
I wondered why someone so harmless would indulge in something as deadly as dealing drugs and murder.
"He might have a genuine reason," I said to no one in particular. The investigator turned to look at me curious who I could be referring to.
As this was an arranged plan, we did not get to talk much, just did what we had to do and got out.
I guess he was not the type to say much as he answered all my questions with a yes or no. Typical private investigator, I thought.
"Shit" I cursed remembering that someone would be coming to pick her up.
It was no use coming here as there was no way I would come in contact with her without getting noticed.
