Doctor's POV:

“Doctor, am I going to die?” was one of the questions I dreaded most in the profession.

I could not look him in the eye when he asked that as I did not have an answer. But as the doctor, I could not lose hope.

Whatever it was, I had to broaden up, put up an expressionless face, smile, and say it was going to be okay.

There was a point in my early life when I lacked financial education. I earned big, so I spent big.

I dare say that I spent more than I earned, wore the best clothes, and drove the latest cars and my wife did not seem to help with her luxurious lifestyle also.

With this kind of living, I was also determined to maintain it and with that determination, I collected loans from loan sharks, banks, friends, and family as well as organizations.

I used a loan to pay back another debt somewhere until I was bankrupt.
