"Yeah. I don't know Linc, but he definitely doesn't look like the kind of man to just forgive something like that. I guess you never really know people." Ashley says. There is something else in her tone that I can't decipher. There is some insinuation that I can't figure out, so I let it go. I am just glad to be talking to her.
"Yeah. I guess." I want to add that I think Linc moved past it because of me, but I hold back, I don't know why.
Aside from calling me 'love' in the heat of the moment last night, Linc hasn't said anything definitive, but it is obvious to me that he cares deeply for me. I would be a total dunce if I didn't know that much, at least. It is glaringly obvious in his actions. I don't know how many men in his position would do the same thing he did for me.
