Derek opened his red wine and poured himself a glass. He looked at Sasha and smiled before opening her white wine for her. He poured a glass for her.

“At least, I shouldn’t let the gentleman in me be hidden, don’t you think?”

Sasha gave a forced smile. She didn’t want to open that wine; she wanted to claim not in the mood for drinking anymore and return it, and now, Derek has ruined that for her—another bill on her head.

“That’s so nice of you.”

“Thank you. I wouldn’t want Michael Brown thinking that I can’t take care of his wife on a date, right?”

“Em, I’m sorry, this is not a date.”

“Then what is it?”
