Book 2: Chapter 57

Sasha kissed Michael again, and again, and again, not wanting to let him go; neither did he, but the growling sound coming from her stomach disrupted the moment.

At first, Michael was confused about where the sound was coming from, until it rumbled again, and Sasha laughed.

“Guess no matter how happy I am, my stomach can’t forget I haven’t eaten.”

“Let’s go get you something to eat then. I can’t have you dying on me before I even have you.” He picked out strands of hair from her face, which he placed behind her ear. “If so, then I will wish this day never happened.”

Sasha chuckled, “Come to think of it, today is Sunday. We can start by going to a church together.”

“I would love that, but do you know the time?”

“Oh. No church service is still on by now.”

“Hey, not to worry. We have a lot of Sundays coming our way. Right?” he asked just to be sure.
