Karthik led us to the crowded bar. Women were dressed in the most revealing way possible, as they flirted shamelessly with men that had so much lust in their eyes. The dance floor was crowded, with men and women dancing. The club was very big. We took our seats.

"Four tequilas please," Karthik ordered.

"No Karthik. I'm not drinking alcohol," I told him firmly.

"Come on girl, don't be a mood spoiler," Riya said.

"I'm afraid Riya, what if something happens?" I asked them.

"We won't drink much. We can make sure that nothing happens to you. I promise. I will protect you," Karthik said with some unreadable emotions in his eyes.

"But I don't want to drink alcohol," I told him.

"Ok Divya, it's your choice," Karthik said. I smiled at him. He ordered a soft drink for me.

How cute! He is understanding me without any arguments while on the other side, Daksh is always ordering me around like his puppet.
