Chapter 22. Coming Out

Morris Scott paced around his office, fuming angrily as he remembered his encounter with Rachel Reeves a week ago. He glanced up as Judith unbolted the door and walked in with a tray of pineapple juice, blended just the way he liked.

"What is it this time?" Judith placed the tray on the brown wooden table in front of him. She could see he was angry and he had an impatient expression on his face. "Are you still angry about how George's wife talked to you?"

"She is so annoying, I can't stand her staying here any longer" Morris barked, his jaw clenching hard. The biggest mistake he made was being so desperate and allowing George to take advantage of him and pick Rachel as his wife. He should have never agreed. Having her around made him remember her father in prison and it made his skin crawl. He should have found another way to fix the company's declining sales back then.
