I sat in the passenger seat of Clint’s car, gazing out the window as we drove to Taylor’s house for a small get-together. It was a beautiful day, and my heart was filled with happiness for my best friend. Seeing Taylor so content and fulfilled with her own family brought me immense joy. She had been through so much in the past, and to witness her now surrounded by love and happiness was a blessing.

“What are you smiling about?” Clint asked, glancing at me with a playful smirk.

“Oh, nothing,” I replied, trying to hide my smile but failing miserably. “I’m just happy for Taylor, that’s all.”

Clint chuckled. “I can see that. She’s lucky to have you as her best friend, you know.”

“I feel lucky to have her too,” I said sincerely. “We’ve been through so much together, and it warms my heart to see her so happy now.”
