The way Hayden checked my work with a serious look on his face made me feel like he was my teacher, and I was getting my work graded.
Basically, I was right. His idea of ‘charging enough’ was very different from mine. It was clear that we were operating off of different scales entirely. He was telling me to increase the price on every single quote that I’ve quoted.
“This rate is already 30-40% higher than my usual rate from before…” I mumbled in slight protest.
