“Come here. I’ll deal with you first and then I’ll come back to deal with you later,” Hayden pulled me after him before he turned to spit the last words of his sentence to his elder brother.

Ladies first really does apply in this household.

His grip around my wrist stung and I wished that he would relax his hold even if by just a little. I could feel Harvey’s eyes on me before he cocked his head to the side and smiled adoringly at me.

“Don’t scream,” Hayden warned in a low whisper.

I didn’t understand what he meant until he suddenly lifted my body up and hauled me over his shoulder with ease. A scream threatened to escape my lips before I quickly swallowed it after I recalled his stern warning just now. If I scream, he’ll probably kill me right then and there on the spot. His broad shoulder dug into my stomach as Hayden began walking
