Chapter 56. No One Touches You but Me

"Brie, I'm leaving!" Belle stood at their apartment's door ready to leave for work the next morning. Cherry had gone to work earlier than them both that day.

"Wait for me please, let's take the bus together okay?" Brie begged while taking out a pair of black flats from the shoe rack in their shared bedroom.

"Alright, hurry up."

"I'm here." Brie panted, slipping her feet into the flats and hurrying to the door to meet Belle.

After locking the door, they both made for the stairs leading downstairs with Belle leading. Brie was texting a coworker quickly when she bumped into Belle at the stairs' entrance.

"Why did you stop?" Brie asked and poked her head outside to see for herself and saw a man standing outside. She remembered seeing him once. It was the guy who had brought Belle's shopped clothes upstairs the other day; it was Randy.
