Chapter 83. Love Is Hurtful

Just like he carried her to the bathroom, he took her back to the bed, pulling the blanket over her.

"Are you leaving?" She asked.

"No." He said and joined her in bed, pulling the blanket over himself too.

When they had both laid separately for a while, Belle turned to him and decided to ask her thoughts.

"Why don't you believe in love?" Ben heard her disrupt the silence.

"Go to sleep, Belle, I know you are tired." He didn't look at her while he said this so she went closer to him on the bed and laid her head on his chest.

He started to caress her hair.

"I don't want to hurt you Belle," she heard him say after his caressing hands went from her hair to her arm.

"Who says I would get hurt?" She asked.

"Love is hurtful." He told her.

"Maybe, but it is also a beautiful thing you know."

"No, it isn't." He disagreed
