What a Kiss
The car pulled up to a semi-detached duplex and came to a halt before Eva’s mother realized Tony had been staring at her all along and she shyly peered at her fingers fondling with them.
“What?” that was an almost outburst. She asked when her beholder was making it seem there was more to his stares than normal.
“I never knew angels were closer to us than we thought,” sounded Tony calmly and with the intent to make a woman much older than him feel like a baby.
She smiled cheek to cheek, unable to keep her gaze to him, even when she knew what was about to happen to her life again.
“You are flattering me.” Her voice was as crisp as cookies, something she experienced in her past relationship but not with tranquility and peace. The freedom she had with words hadn’t been her right until now and she agreed within herself she was going to apply caution in checking her words or feelings before saying them.
Tony was really into her.
