Chapter 35

Colin opened his eyes and rolled over to check for the time on his digital alarm out of habit. He does this anytime he wakes up without the sound of the alarm. But there was no alarm clock there. He wasn't in his bedroom. A smile etched on his lips as it dawned on him that he was not in his bedroom.  

He and Becky were in Miami for their getaway. They were going to spend the next eleven days at the luxury beach resort. Colin studied Becky's form beside him. He was about to reach out to caress her cheek, but stopped himself with a chuckle. 

He stood up to use the bathroom. After which, he brought out a full box of condoms from his luggage and dropped it on the nightstand. Colin got back into the bed where Becky was still sleeping peacefully.
