Chapter 6
Luna opened her eyes again with irregular breaths, every night was like a second world for her. She never understood how Luna could keep dreaming about the incident over and over again, like a pill that was mandatory to take.
It felt so real as if Luna had indeed just experienced it, and while fingering the side of the bed, she was looking for a cane to lead me out of the room.
Luna hadn't mastered the letters for the blind, which is why every time she opened her eyes, she would go straight to Aunt Anna and ask what time it was, what day it was, and of course the date, like a routine that she couldn't let go of.
"Aunt Anna, are you awake?" called Luna, tapped the cane on the floor, and traced the hallway of the room to the main room, or living room.
Luna passed through the living room and then walked into the dining room, she didn't hear any sound, let alone inhale the scent of cooking in the kitchen.
"Where is Auntie?"
"Hasn't he woken up yet?"
