Chapter 17. Game Night

Bree’s POV

“I can’t believe you came to the game,” Sofie exclaimed, surprised.

“Yeah, what has gotten into you?” Maddie backed up.

“It’s my last year in high school, so I should at least get to see the game. What could go wrong?”

“I guess I understand what you mean, but you just caught us by surprise,” she smiled.

We were sitting on the top seat to get a better view of the field; we had already gotten popcorn, and I watched the other team on the field, trying my best not to look at Hayden.

Maddie tapped my shoulder. “I have got to say, Hayden looks so hot.” She points to the corner of the field where Hayden stood with the rest of his teammate.
