Chapter 66. Prom Night

Bree’s POV

The night kept going; the girls had also danced with their respective partners before meeting me at the food court. They were as starving as I was. We eat our food while watching the boys mingle with their fellow teammates.

Sofie, Maddie, and I moved to sit on a chair next to each other while waiting for the boys to get back. Dylan and Oliver kept stealing glances in our direction, as did Hayden. While waiting for them, we decided to watch a bunch of students dance among themselves. That was when I realized something.

“Wait, what happened to Sophie? I haven’t seen her for those last two hours, which is so unlike her.” I asked the girls, hoping they would have an answer.

Maddie scoffed. “She isn’t coming. No one wanted to ask her out to prom, so she decided not to come.”
