Chapter 17. Krav Maga

I am consumed with guilt over lying to my brother. I only did it to protect Sarah, and while I don't regret it, it weighs heavily on me. My brother and I have been best friends for our entire lives and have never even had a significant disagreement, so this situation is new and uncomfortable for me. What else is he going to demand from me? Or worse yet, from Sarah?
As the old clock ticks on the wall, it's getting on my nerves. I'm becoming increasingly impatient. Our relationship with Sarah is already difficult, and this timeline only exacerbates things.
As the day drags on, I long for her touch and voice more and more, so I message her asking if we can chat. She gives me a call during her break.
"How is your day going?"
"Slowly moving along," she answers, with a sigh, making me smile. I already feel gradually better. "Yours?"
"I have nothing to do, so I'm bored." I relax on the couch, putting my arm behind my head
