Chapter 33. Apology

Amber’s POV

“Should we wake them?”

“No, let them sleep a little longer.”

“But we need to get back. My, well, our father…”

“Ezra, Merida, Glaciel, and Tristan are keeping everything safe and welcoming the other royals.”

“I’m going to try and get in contact with Berion, just as a precaution.”

The conversation disturbs my sleep, but the voices are low, and trying hard not to wake anyone. I recognize them, of course. They belong to Chase and Blaze. What is it with Callus? And why are Ezra and the others keeping everything safe?
