Chapter 32. This Day Keeps Getting Interesting

Maze’s POV

We’ve been at the store for hours, letting Frida and Kiara lead the battle to get Ryan and James what they need to survive. And a battle it has been. Ryan flat out refuses to let us buy him anything he does not see as absolutely essential, and it started in the computer store. Kiara had scoffed and told the salesman to only listen to her, as Ryan was clearly not working with the full function of his brain. All of us tried not to laugh at Ryan’s expression, but when James also fell down laughing so much, the rest of us followed. It ended in Ryan getting top notch equipment, which I approve wholeheartedly of! He is going to work for the pack, so this is the least we can do.

“Alpha…” I raise an eyebrow at James, who gives me a sheepish smile. “I mean Maze?!”
