Chapter 39. Claiming My Position

Kiara’s POV

Maze takes off into town in his sports car, but not before telling me to stop by for lunch. The twins, triplets and Alastair also go into the office today, so me and the girls are all alone in the house today. We all agreed on bringing lunch to our guys later, and they kissed us goodbye. Me and Frida watch Callie and Elena kiss their mates, and I am secretly happy I only have one. That has to be hard work. An internal giggle threatens to move out of my mouth and I press my lips together in an attempt to not reveal my amusement, although I know my expression does not live up to my effort.

When they are all gone I get the girls to come with me to my office where Abby, Lauren and Ellie are waiting. They have stern expressions and I sigh inside. I know this is going to be a hard bargain, but I really want to plan my Luna ceremony with their help, not let them plan the whole thing without me.
