Chapter 55. Playing Catch Up

Abigail’s POV

Everything went on in a blur after Matt passed out. A doctor and another nurse rushed in the room to make sure their Alpha and King were alright, summoned by a mind-link. He had hit his head, but nothing major.

I laughed so hard, I almost fell off the bed at his embarrassed face when he realized what had happened. He kept apologizing for making them worry and stood up. He was a little uneasy at first from the hit to the head, but he quickly got his barrings and went to the bed, and kissed the side of my head to hide his burning cheeks.

The nurse who scanned me also had a grand time, and I gave her permission to tell everyone at the infirmary of what had happened, much to her amusement and Matt’s chagrin.
