“You’ve got to be joking, dad. How can we get married so soon? You just announced our engagement. This is too hasty. Mum, say something.” I turned to my mother for support.

“Sorry honey, but your father is right. There is no need to delay the wedding. Don’t forget that you will succeed your father and become the Alpha in a few weeks.
